Not all rice and noodles are the

same. Most rice has a high to medium rating on the glycemic index (GI). The rate at which blood sugar is affected is very important. Lower GI is better, the food is broken down slowly giving a steady blood sugar. So look for Basmati rice and Egg noodles which are cooked “al dente”
